As Vice President, Ms. Ford not only manages all of the public relations and advertising for Pennsylvania Commercial but she is also part of the team that works with clients to find new facility locations across the United States and helps them disengage from facilities that no longer meet the their needs. Ms. Ford can advise Pennsylvania Commercial clients on brownfield clean-up and development, how to seek State, Local & Federal funding, and the Foreign-Trade Zone program.

Prior to her move to Pennsylvania Commercial, Ms. Ford worked for the Regional Industrial Development Corporation of Southwestern Pennsylvania (RIDC) for 18 years. While at the RIDC she was involved in the clean-up and development of several brownfield properties. Those properties included two US Steel sites totaling over 350 acres, a former Westinghouse plant and the former Edgewater Steel plant. Ms. Ford oversaw all environmental clean-up work, the budgeting, application and monitoring of $25+ million in State and Federal grants received for various projects and the Pennsylvania DEP’s Act 2 process for three of the four sites.

In addition to her brownfield work, Ms. Ford was responsible for the development and implementation of marketing plans for the brownfield sites, public relations manager for the corporation and managed a federal trade program, the Foreign-Trade Zones program, for the region.

Ms. Ford is on the Board of Directors for CREW Pittsburgh, Communications/Marketing Chairperson for NAIOP – Pittsburgh Chapter, and an Executive Committee Member of the Western PA Brownfields Forum. Previously she served as a member of the Board of Directors for the National Association of Foreign-Trade Zones, a Board member for the Steel Valley Trail Council, a Director on the Board for the Brew House Association and a member of the Air Cargo Task Force for the Pittsburgh International Airport.
