Ed Atkinson, Property Manager, began his career in real estate by purchasing a multi-family rental property nearly 12 years ago.  From the beginning, he split his time between property investor and a 17-year career in high tech sales.  In 2004, Ed decided to focus 100% of his time in real estate investing and consulting.  Since then he has accumulated:

• 68 residential rental units in the Pittsburgh and surrounding areas which he owns and manages with his wife, Laura
• 8 rental units in the Fort Bragg, NC area (new construction)
• 98-unit condo-conversion in Baton Rouge, LA
• 22-unit high-end condo development on the waterfront in Calabash, NC

Mr. Atkinson also has started a commercial brokerage company called Apartment Capital Funding Group, where he originated commercial mortgages on new purchases and refinanced small to mid-size real estate investment opportunities.  He has also helped key clients to locate and qualify large real estate investment opportunities in strategic areas of the country.
