After several years of consulting on the assignment, we recommended, planned and implemented the construction of a new office building on Second Avenue. The Pittsburgh Technology Center. groundbreaking occurred in November, 1995. This was a very complex transaction involving public-private funding for leasing to “For-Profit” entities, condominium-izing approximately one-half of the four-story office building, selecting the architect, interviewing, programming and handling all legal and financial negotiations.
Pennsylvania Commercial received the Society of Industrial and Office Realtor’s (SIOR) award for the Most Creative Deal of the Year for 1995 for this transaction.
